Geoff Pearce, President

Geoff Pearce – A Lifelong Leader in Tennis and Business

Geoff Pearce has been involved in the sport of tennis across Canada and the U.S. for more than 40 years. He began playing at age 10, and by 12 had already reached the national level, quickly establishing himself as one of the country’s top juniors in both singles and doubles.

Awarded a tennis scholarship to the University of Akron, Ohio (NCAA Division I), Geoff went on to serve as Team Captain and became one of the top players in the university’s history, all while earning a place on the Dean’s List. His entrepreneurial journey started at just 15 years old, when he launched his first tennis business. With a natural gift for marketing, business development, and communication, he expanded from managing a single club to overseeing more than a dozen clubs across Canada and the U.S.

Today, Geoff Pearce is recognized as a leader in both tennis and business in Ottawa. Backed by a team of 50 staff members, he manages tennis services for a dozen clubs, delivers the majority of tennis programming for the City of Ottawa and the Ottawa Catholic School Board, and coordinates one of Canada’s largest school tennis programs—impacting more than 200,000 children since 1994. He is also a driving force behind tournaments, fundraisers, and corporate events across the city.

Beyond grassroots initiatives, Geoff has developed high-performance opportunities through his Sport and Study program for juniors committed to excelling in the sport. His National Tennis School, one of the longest-standing academies in Canada, has been recognized with multiple honours, including the prestigious Tennis Canada Distinguished Service Award.

Leeorah Pearce – Business Leader & Heart of NTS/NKC

Leeorah Pearce joined the National Tennis School in 1994, bringing with her a wealth of experience after a successful career as a Senior Account and Business Manager in the high-tech sector.

With deep expertise in business development, negotiations, accounting, and client relations, Leeorah has a proven record of growing revenue by millions, expanding account bases, and maintaining long-standing customer relationships across both the Federal Government and private sectors. Her approach has always centered on customer satisfaction, ensuring that every relationship thrives.

Known for her ability to build, strengthen, and sustain meaningful connections, Leeorah explains her philosophy simply: “By delivering a high level of service to my customers, I am able to support current accounts, expand into new territories, and successfully penetrate new markets. I value teamwork, whether leading or collaborating, and I believe strong people skills are at the core of success.”

At NTS and National Kids Camps, Leeorah is the heart of the organization. She insists that when families join, they become part of our family. Tirelessly dedicated, she ensures every camper and parent feels supported, cared for, and welcomed. If there’s ever something needed to make a child’s summer truly spectacular, Leeorah makes it her mission to deliver.

When it comes to camp, if you’re on time, you’re probably late! Be ready to spring into action when your day is supposed to start; come prepared to contribute!

We don’t hire “talent”; we hire human beings! Part of taking care of yourself involves letting us know if there is anything you need. Please communicate with each other, too, to share the load when you need a moment.
