A week at Camp Fortune learning real survival skills: building shelters and fires, finding the way with a map and compass, fishing, first aid and lake days, all without a phone.

Day trips beyond the camp
Each week the group heads out to put their skills to work on the lakes and trails of the Gatineau Hills.
Lac La Pêche
Swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and fishing at one of the most beautiful beaches in Ottawa-Gatineau.
Éco-Odyssée
A weekly trip to explore the water maze in the wetlands.
Summer 2027 weeks
Each week runs Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Tap a week to book it, or pick several.

Getting there
Take the camp bus
Our bus picks campers up and brings them home each day, with stops in:
- Kanata
- Nepean
- Ottawa
- Orleans
Two buses run each day: one serving Orleans and Ottawa, and one serving Kanata and Nepean. You can add transportation during registration.

Many families carpool with other parents. Drop-off starts at 8 am with pre-care, and pick-up runs until 5 pm with post-care.

Wilderness Adventure Camp is for campers aged 8 to 15.

How do I book the bus?
You can add transportation during registration. You can also drop off and pick up at Camp Fortune yourself.
